The forecast this weekend in Jacksonville, Florida calls for rain and lots of it. April is historically a mushy month in the sunshine state; natures way of giving everything a nice bath before the summer hits. Of course, if you’ve ever owned a convertible with a leaky top you know the aggravation that even a little bit of that rain cause. Steamed up windows that eventually lead to rusty floorboards falling onto the highway, turning your prized ride into the Barney Rubble mobile.
Buick has gone great lengths to ensure that the 2016 Cascada’s interior stays bone dry, even in hurricane-type rain conditions. Of course they still can’t help you if you spill that 128-oz Slurpee, you may want to invest in vinyl seat covers and perhaps a drop cloth for that one. (NOTE: On the contrary, our friends from Buick kindly notified me today that even a 128-oz Slurpee is no match for the 2016 Cascada’s standard leader seats. Here is a link with more information.)
Check out the brand’s new video illustrating the process that each new 2016 Buick Cascada goes through at the factory. For more on the process, visit April Showers No Match for Buick’s New Convertible.
